The name of the song is the big giveaway to the audience on what this music video will consists of and that is women. The video has various shots of different women who are being sexualised with close ups shots throughout the video. The video starts with a Birdseye shot of the city London and then a low angle shot behind a woman who is walking into a club. This again sexualises the woman for the music video. There are then many close ups and shots of the artists who is wearing a gold chain to show his wealth and the shots of the artists and the women constantly cut between each other to link with the lyrics.
The use of various lighting and transitions is what makes the video visually interesting and this can be used when my group and I make our music video. Slow motion is also used on the shots of the women and that way they are sexualised a bit more and this proves Goodwins theory with females in music videos.
The narrative behind this music video is very clear even though the language is different. The audience sees that there is a group on stage and that there is an audience watching with judges so that this is for some talent show. We see many close ups and shots of the main artists and this makes it obvious for the audience who is the main stars but there are also many long shots and mid shots. The main artists are centred in the middle of all the shots and that shows they are the main star in the video and the main selling point for the record labels.
The pace of the performance builds up with pace of the music as well. The whole music video is in one setting and it can get quite boring as its the same costumes and setting throughout the video.

Slow motion was also used when the artist goes and sits in the van which just makes the video more visually interesting. In the song he is talking about a his city called Oujuelegba and the shots shown in the music video shows his city and it relates with the narrative. Some of the shots were filmed of the car mirror and this created a nice effect like a fisheye lens. There were also usage of some handheld shots and low angle shots which looks up at the artist showing that he is the main person in this video and it shows power. Theres then a panning long shot of the artist in a studio showing him singing with a mic and other equipments as prop for the video. Theres also various sliding motion transitions between shots where the camera pans and moves into another shot. Theres then a bird eye shot of the artist playing a piano.
I like this music video because of the many shots it had. I also like the filter used in editing and the narrative behind the music video showing a tour of his city and how he began as a artist in a small studio and the lyrics and the visuals link well. This proves Goodwins theory that music videos have a narrative.

The artists is the only male and the rest of the cast and actors are all females who are being sexualised in the video. This proves good wins theory that the sexualisation of women increases the sales and chances of the video being watched by predominantly by the male audience.
There are various shots and tracking camera actions. The camera has a nice lens flare which gives a great effect and the editing is well synchronised with the song such as the cuts and the bass in the music. There were two settings, one in the house in which he wears jewellery thats gold and has the record label logo which is again the promotion part of the video. The video doesn't really have much of a narrative but it is a visually interesting video and has many effects and various shots and scenes.
This artist is a rapper and like the conventions of most hip hop artists and rappers he shows his wealth and fame in the video with his big house and the women he has with him.

All the camera shots seem to handheld and the the clothing worn by the artists are youth type of clothing which shows their target audience is the youth to watch the much video and listen to the song.
The lyrics and the visuals do link together sometimes when the artist said "I'm a zombie" the use of editing changed the artists eyes and made him look like a zombie. The whole music video i handheld and its very simple and basic and nothing new happens and therefor eat can get very boring and be bland.

Some of the shots link with lyrics such as when the artists said Lamborghini, there was a long shot of a Lamborghini car, the shot must've been taken with a crane as there was a pedestal shot of the car. Some some shots of the artists were panned quite a lot to synchronise with the beat in the music and also to create a strong mood with the song. Theres then some more close up and long shot scenes of the artist again showing to the audience who it is. There were birds eye view shots and worms eye view shots of the car, this links with the lyrics about driving, cars, fame and money. There was also a worms eye view shot of the artist, this shows that he is the main person in the video, he is the songs artist.
The music video was also heavily edited with various types of editing shown throughout the whole video. It starts with a flashy filter and the name of the artist and title of the song in big bold writing. The artist name was written in white so it is bold and the name of the song had a brown texture so that it stands out more. There was also many scenes which faded into each other which gave a slow effect at the start because it synchronises with the song starting up slowly, Slow motion was also used with the Artist smoking to again synchronise with the pace of the music. There was a lot of cuts which were cute well with the changes in the audio, this was done so the video and the audio work well together and therefore more appeasing to watch for the audience. Many effects and flashes were used to change between scenes and this goes well with the beats of the song and its also entertaining to watch the video.
There was also a lot of mine-en-scecne used in this music video. The use of heavy lighting was used in dark shots and the light was also used to create effects such as the light fading to turn off on the artist's face. There was also the use of RGB Colourful DJ/Party lights in the background. The artist is wearing has a Lamborghini, a chain necklace, a gold kings throne to sit on and a portrait painting of the artist. This was all used to go with the lyrics in the song, the lyrics talk about Money and Fame and about how he has become famous and rich, that is why these props were used to symbolise that. The artist also had fire in the background behind him so that it links with the lyrics "Bring the heat girl, I'm a bring the fire". The character also had smoke to add an effect and this must have been done with a smoke machine.
Overall I think this a great music video as it has many types of shots, editing and miss-en-scene which all link and synchronise well with the lyrics and the pace and beat of the music.
