Genre House Music - Chet Faker - 1998

https://youtu.be/EIQQnoeepgU

This music video is very different from most music videos. It has no shots at all and uses only editing to create it as it is fully animated. The music video doesn't have a narrative which goes against Goodwins theory. The music video starts with the text showing 1998 which is the song name. Theres then various animated patterns which are synchronised well with the beat in the music, such as a sudden high pitch makes the patterns explode like fireworks. The music video shows a man which as we zoom into we see is Chet Faker who is the artist of the song and it shows the Record Label demands as it promotes the artist and Goodwins Theory also suggests this. There are various colours flashing on the patterns but the main theme is black and white. The shot also pans and showing behind of Chet Faker when his walking and it also pans and shows the top of him as well as underneath him. Its created by very simple design of fine line drawings and it looks very interesting as its different to most music videos as its fully animated. At the end of the song we see the artists Chet Faker slowly fade away as the song starts to fade and come to an end.

I like this music video as it looks very interesting and visually interesting. I don't like that the video is just fully edited and it shows no shots or scenes.
